In-Depth Information : Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has published a notification for recruiting 198 Graduate Engineers to the post of Junior Telecom Officers (JTO) in Civil and Electrical under Special Recruitment Drive (SRD) for SC, ST and OBC candidates through GATE-SCORE 2019. So the interested candidates who have appeared in GATE 2019 and have their candidature registered in BSNL only would be eligible to apply for the post JTO (Civil) and JTO (Electrical). Last Date for Online Registration : 12-03-2019
Educational Qualification : Applicant must possess these mentioned qualifications : BE/BTech or equivalent in Civil Engineering for JTO (Civil) and in Electrical Engineering for JTO (Electrical) from a recognized Institution/University and are also required to appear in GATE 2019 Exam, opting one paper from the selected two disciplines of GATE paper codes i.e. Electrical (EE) and Civil (CE).
GATE Registration ID : All the willing candidates must have a GATE Registration ID (13 digits) for online registration.
Minimum Age : 18 years
Maximum Age : 30 years
Age Relaxation is applicable as per the standing instructions of Government of India (refer notification for more details)
For OBC Candidate : Rs. 1000
For SC/ST Candidate : Rs. 500
The payment can be made through online mode i.e. Internet Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card only.
The amount of fee shall not be accepted in any other form.

Vacancy DetailsThe number of vacancies for the post of BSNL Junior Telecom Officers in Civil is 132 and in Electrical it is 66 making a total of 198 vacancies as per the notification. The detailed list of vacancies state wise is given below.
Pay ScaleJTO (Civil) & JTO (Electrical) will be appointed in the IDA pay scale Executive [E-1A] of Rs.16,400/- to Rs.40,500/- as per 2nd PRC with annual increment @ 3% of basic pay plus IDA, HRA, Perks, Medical Benefits etc. admissible as per BSNL Company rules.
