Short Information: Food Corporation of India (FCI), one of the largest Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) which ensures the food security of the Nation, is going to invite online applications for various posts in its Depots and Offices spread all over the Country. The various posts which are included in this are JUNIOR ENGINEER (JE) (CIVIL ENGINEERING / ELECTRICAL MECHANICAL ENGINEERING), ASSISTANT GRADE-II (AG II) (HINDI), STENO GRADE-II, TYPIST (HINDI) AND ASSISTANT GRADE-III (AG III) (GENERAL / ACCOUNTS / TECHNICAL / DEPOT).

Age Limit
The required age of the candidate as per 1st January 2019 is given as follows. Although for some categories relaxation in age limit is applicable as per the standing instructions of the Government of India, you can go through the notification for complete details.
Educational Qualifications
1.) For Junior Engineer (Civil Engineering) - Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering along with one year of experience.
2.) For Junior Engineer (Electrical Mechanical Engineering) - Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering along with one year of experience in the case of Diploma holders.
3.) For Steno Grade-II - Graduation along with O‘ level qualification of DOEACC and speed of 40 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m. in typing and shorthand respectively or Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application with speed of 40 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m. in typing and shorthand respectively.
4.) For Assistant Grade -II (Hindi) - A degree from a recognized University with Hindi as the main subject but the candidate should also be proficient in English along with One year experience in translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa.
5.) For Typist (Hindi) - Graduation or equivalent along with 30 W.P.M speed in Hindi Typing.
6.) For Assistant Grade III - Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with expertise in the use of computers.
7.) For Assistant Grade-III (Accounts) - Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized University along with proficiency in the use of computers.
8.) For Assistant Grade III (Technical) - B.Sc. in Agriculture field from a recognized University or B. Sc. with any of the following subjects from a recognized University: Botany / Zoology / Bio-Technology / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology / Food Science or B. Tech / BE in Food Science / Food Science and Technology / Agricultural Engineering / Bio-Technology from a recognized University / an institution approved by AICTE.
9.) For Assistant Grade III (Depot) - Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University along with proficiency in the use of computers.
Selection Procedure

Application Fee
Interested candidates have to deposit Rs 500 (excluding bank charges but including GST) applying for any of these posts from any zone. The payment option available is online mode only.
